We are looking for an Injection Moulding Setter on behalf of our client in the Stirchley area, to safely set up & operate machinery according to specifications and instructions.

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday

10pm – 6am

Pay:

£18 per hour

What you’ll do:
• Set the injection Moulding Machines to an acceptable standard and ensuring all product is running efficiently and within specification.
• Operate the injection Moulding Machines and ensuring that the machines are kept in good working order and are completed to a high level and documented.
• Ensuring that good levels of 5S are maintained on all machines, areas, and tooling.
• Involvement in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
• Liaises effectively with the Tool maintenance around insert changes and the general condition of the tooling, ensuring that all tooling is ready to set by liaising with the planning departments.
• Work to Health and Safety within the Injection Molding area
• Responsible for the quality of the product produced and raises any issues with the Quality department.
• Responsible for an effective shift handover and takeover
• Ensures departmental and all company procedures are followed.
• Responsible for ensuring recycling is carried out to the agreed standard.

What you bring:
• Prior experience in Injection Moulding machines and tooling
• Experience of setting Arburg moulding machines
• Knowledge of the properties and processing behavior of polymer materials
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Able to work in teams
• Good communication skills
• Recognised qualification in polymer processing

Role Includes:

• Order picking car parts using handheld scanners to specifications.
• Ensuring correct quantities are packed.
• Using pallet pump trucks.
• Driving LLOPs + PPTs
• Attention to detail is a must due to the different codes and part numbers you will pick to specification.
• Inputting information onto the system to print dispatch labels.
• General warehouse duties.
• Light and heavy lifting is a regular part of this role.

The Role

As an FLT Reach Driver, you’ll play a key part in keeping the warehouse running smoothly. Your main responsibility will be ensuring stock is moved, replenished, and ready to meet delivery deadlines, always maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an FLT Reach Truck to move and store pallets
• Replenish pick faces and put stock away correctly
• Maintain focus on targets and deadlines
• Work with your team to keep the warehouse clean and safe
• Support with other warehouse duties when required

As a Small Parts Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to small metal or plastic components, ensuring the highest standards of precision and workmanship. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting, knowledge of various spray equipment, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, including spray guns and air compressors.
• Mix paint and other finishing materials to ensure the correct consistency and colour.
• Apply coatings evenly and consistently to small parts, following company specifications and industry standards.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring smooth finishes without defects.

• Communicate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Small Parts Paint Sprayer or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with various spray techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of precision in your work.
• Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures in a work environment.

Desirable:

• Experience with spray booth operations and environmental controls.
• Previous work in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Certification or training in industrial painting (desirable but not required).
